Privacy Policy

The Short Version

KeepSlip processes everything on your device. We don't collect your data, we don't see your receipts, and we don't track your spending. That's not a feature — it's how the app is built.

Data Collection

We collect nothing. KeepSlip does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our servers. There are no analytics SDKs, no tracking pixels, no crash reporters that phone home.

Receipt Data

All receipt images, OCR text, line items, and spending data are stored locally on your device in an SQLite database. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to:

OCR Processing

Receipt scanning uses Apple's Vision framework, which runs entirely on-device. No images are sent to any server — not ours, not Apple's, not anyone's. The entire OCR pipeline executes locally on your iPhone's neural engine.

iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit framework. This data is encrypted by Apple and associated with your Apple ID. We have no ability to access, read, or decrypt this data.

In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive a transaction confirmation but no payment details. We do not store credit card numbers, billing addresses, or any financial information.

Third-Party Services

KeepSlip uses zero third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising networks. The only external service is Apple's App Store for purchase processing and (optionally) iCloud for sync.

Children's Privacy

KeepSlip does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13 — or anyone else, for that matter.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this policy, we'll update this page. But the core commitment — your data stays on your device — is foundational to KeepSlip and will not change.
